Who the Flock Are We?
Meet the Owners!
Robin and Bryan Weber moved to Wilkes County with one goal: to create a safe, accepting space for their family where they could live sustainably, and produce their own food. Since moving, they have made great strides with their goal and their passion has extended into the greater community. They want to help provide healthier, locally sourced options for their neighbors and community, and empower others to chase their own passions for producing/locally sourcing food for their families.
Meet Her Majesty, Blaize!
Blaize provides expert technical oversight, strategic leadership, and a glare that will make you question everything you’re doing and have ever done before! Under her watchful eyes, cat-astrophies are prevented and the flock (and their feed bags) are kept safe!
Our Purpose
Why KWF Legacy Farms? To provide for generations to come.
To provide:
A safe place to live,
A place where we can feed ourselves,
A place of peace and security,
A place of memories,
A place to go when the world is too hard to face,
A place to age safely.
Meet Our Flock!
Ducks!
Our duck flock is a mixed variety of hearty, egg-laying breeds (and entertaining personalities), including Khaki Campbell, Pekin, Mallard, Rouen, Swedish Blue, Welsh Harlequin, and Muscovy. Keep an eye out for fun facts about one of our darling ducks included in your duck egg order, coming soon!
Chickens!
Our chicken flock is fully made up of Golden Comets and protected by our elegant rooster, Erick! We have a limited supply of chicken eggs each week, so get your orders in as soon as you can! Check out our Egg-ucation page to see why our duck and chicken eggs last longer, are more protein-packed, and more disease resistant than what you will find in the grocery stores!
